bullet

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com OR the settings assigned by your ISP (either will work).

bullet

Password: As Requested or Assigned.

bullet

Reply E-Mail: Your Full E-Mail Address (as above, with the normal "@" sign before your domain name).

Here are instructions for accessing your webmail account.

bullet

Using any web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer), enter: http://yourdomain.com/webmail

bullet

User Name: Your Full E-Mail Address (i.e. yourname@yourdomain.com).

bullet

Password: As Requested or Assigned.

Select whichever e-mail program you prefer (our choice is Horde).

bullet

After making your choice, you may save the login screen in your "favorites" listing (to bypass the preliminary screens) if you will always be using the same computer for webmail.

bullet

Re-enter your logon name and password if requested.

bullet

Remember that any messages sent or deleted from your webmail box will not be downloaded later to your office e-mail reader.

E-Mail Account Maintenance.

If you would prefer to maintain your own e-mail boxes, please phone us for instructions.  However, we normally do this for you, since we are completely familiar with the procedure, and we do it at no charge.  However, be aware that we must know your e-mail password in order to set up your e-mail box.  Our policy is to never access our client's e-mail, but knowing that it is possible may influence your decision to have us maintain your e-mail box.  If you are dealing with highly sensitive communications, you may choose to encrypt your e-mail messages, since clear text messages may be intercepted at numerous points on the internet.  It is also a good idea to never include credit card numbers in unencrypted e-mail, or enter them in web page forms that do not show a "padlock" icon (which denotes a secure connection) at the bottom of the screen.
